Lepidolite Gemstone Kitten
Lepido is from the Greek for (fish) scales. Its mica composition can give that impression. Generally lavender purple, it contains high levels of lithium (but isn’t dangerous!). Not discovered until 1861. Birthstone substitute for amethyst.
Accompanied by a card detailing the birthstone month, stone name and extra facts. Cat and card are supplied in a "Lucky Gemstone Cat" velveteen drawstring pouch.
